Dr.Ron Ducharme

I was born and raised in the small town of Bonnyville, Alberta. I completed my Bachelor of Science and my Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Alberta. I was a partner at Colwood Dental until 2014. Since that time, I've been working a reduced schedule to grow my family with my wife Jennifer. We now have two boys Jet and Dax. I have enjoyed this precious time with my family but now that our youngest has started school, I’d like to transition back to private practice. What you should know about me is that I truly love helping people. My dental experiences are diverse and I feel where I am now as a dentist is a result of my curiosity and commitment to dentistry. My resume now includes: President of the Victoria and District Dental Society, Director at the BC Dental Association, Dentist for the Canadian Military, Dentist for the correctional institutions on Vancouver Island, locum Dentist throughout the province, Dentist with VIHA at Mt.St.Mary Hospital and I’ve even seen a number of patients in their homes. I love learning and keeping up to date on the latest dentistry has to offer. I have compiled many hours of continuing education throughout the years and I don’t see that changing.
