Dr.Ducharme graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Alberta. After a short stint working in northern Alberta, Dr.Ducharme moved to Victoria and became part owner of Colwood Dental. In 2019, he opened his own practice in Colwood called Ducharme Dental.
